About this MOC
This LEGO Duolingo owl MOC is a 158-piece brick-built version of Duo, the green owl mascot of the Duolingo language learning app. It captures Duo's big round eyes with lime green eye patches, white eyes and black pupils, along with an orange beak, orange feet and short pointed wings held out to the sides. Small dark green tufts stick out from the sides of the head, and the rounded green body tapers down toward the feet.
Standing 10.4 cm tall on a 14 x 7 stud footprint (wings included), it is a medium-sized build with lots of curved slopes shaping the round belly and a face built from layered tiles and plates. It suits builders with some experience or older kids who want a bigger project. The page includes free step-by-step instructions and a build animation that shows the model coming together. Finished, it makes a fun desk companion for anyone keeping up a daily language streak.
