About this MOC
This LEGO Robin Ornament is a 43-piece European robin with a brown head and back, a bright red breast, big round eyes, and an orange beak and feet. A yellow ring on its head lets you hang it on the Christmas tree.
The bird is about 4 x 6 studs and 6.6 cm tall. Curved brown pieces form the wings on each side, and the large printed eyes give it a friendly cartoon look. It uses 28 different parts and takes 19 pages of free step-by-step instructions, so it is an easy and quick build for kids and beginners.
The robin is a classic Christmas bird in Britain and Europe, which makes it a nice alternative to the usual Santa and snowman ornaments. Hang it on the tree, or stand it on a shelf with the Penguin Ornament from the same series.
