About this MOC
This LEGO Santa Hat Ornament is a 40-piece red Santa hat with a white fur trim and a white pompom, folded over to one side the way a real Santa hat flops. It hangs from a thin black string attached at the top.
The hat is about 6 x 5 studs and 6.7 cm tall. Curved red slopes build the folded shape, and rounded white pieces make the soft-looking trim around the base. With 17 different parts and 18 pages of free step-by-step instructions, it is one of the quickest ornaments on the site and a good first build for kids.
Hang it on the tree, from a door handle or above the fireplace. It pairs well with the Santa Claus Ornament and the Christmas Stocking Ornament if you want a matching red and white theme on your tree.
