About this MOC
This LEGO Shy Guy MOC is a 186-piece brick-built version of the masked Super Mario enemy, in his red hooded robe with a white mask and dark blue feet. The mask has the familiar black oval eyes and small round mouth, a brown strap wraps around the hood, and a brown belt with a yellow buckle circles the waist. His rounded red hands stick out at the sides, and the back of the hood is smooth and domed.
The figure measures 11 x 6 studs and 9.1 cm tall, with 55 different part types and free step-by-step instructions in 61 pages, so it suits builders with some experience, including older kids ready for a longer project. Curved slopes shape the hood and robe, and the mask is built as a separate rounded white panel on the front, which keeps the face clean with no stickers. It makes a fun desk or shelf figure for Nintendo fans.
