About this MOC
This LEGO Diglett MOC is a tiny 20-piece brick-built version of the Ground-type Pokémon #050, popping up out of a pile of gray rocks. The reddish brown body has a rounded top, two tall black eyes and the signature wide oval pink nose. The gray base uses angled slopes to look like freshly broken ground, just like the way Diglett peeks out of the earth in the games and the anime.
At 4 x 3 studs and 3.5 cm tall, it is one of the quickest Pokémon builds on the site and a good first MOC for kids and beginners. Studs on the sides of the body show a bit of sideways building (SNOT), so it also works as a gentle introduction to that technique. The free step-by-step instructions are short and easy to follow, and the finished model makes a cute desk buddy or a fun addition to a shelf of Pokémon figures.
