About this MOC
This LEGO Bulbasaur MOC is a compact 72-piece brick-built version of the Grass/Poison Pokémon, with a wide open mouth, red eyes and the green bulb on its back. The blue-teal body is shaped with curved slopes, with a pink tongue inside the mouth, small pointed ears, a dark green spot on the head and light gray claw details on the chunky legs. The bulb is a stack of green bricks topped with round plates, sitting right behind the head.
It measures 5 x 7 studs and 4.6 cm tall, with 43 different parts spread over 38 pages of free step-by-step instructions. That is a lot of pages for such a small figure, which shows how much shaping goes into the head and legs, so it makes a good small challenge for kids and newer builders who already know the basics. It fits easily on a desk, a monitor stand or a shelf of Pokémon figures.
LEGO has released official Pokémon sets in 2026, but this is a custom MOC by BrickProject, not an official LEGO set. Bulbasaur is #001 in the site's Gen 1 series, next to Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Caterpie, Butterfree and more.
