About this MOC
This LEGO Caterpie MOC is a tiny 23-piece brick-built version of the Bug Pokémon, with a big blocky green head, a red antenna and a curving, segmented body. Lime green rings separate the rounded green body segments, and a pale yellow cone forms the tip of the tail.
At 3 x 6 studs and 4.6 cm tall, it is one of the smallest Pokémon builds on the site, with 23 pieces, 18 different parts and 14 pages of free step-by-step instructions. Because almost every piece is different, the build stays varied even though it is short. It is a good first Pokémon for kids and beginners, and it is small enough to sit next to a keyboard or on the edge of a shelf.
LEGO has released official Pokémon sets in 2026, but this is a custom MOC by BrickProject, not an official LEGO set. Caterpie is #010 in the site's Gen 1 series, and Butterfree, its final evolution, is also available to build, so the two can be displayed together.
